“He Sinks Like a Rock”: Emily Blunt Once Ruined $800M Worth Dwayne Johnson’s Credibility by Sharing a Rare Hilarious Story

Dwayne Johnson is a man who arguably excels at whatever he attempts and he does so with great enthusiasm. The Hollywood megastar has achieved recognition for his work, which has contributed to his $800 million net worth, therefore it is quite uncommon to see him struggle and fail at something.

Emily Blunt, who plays Johnson’s co-star in the ‘Jungle Cruise’ movie, is well known for their witty banter, which exposes a lot about one another. She subsequently disclosed a story that is contradictory to The Rock’s credibility.

As part of their promotion for ‘Jungle Cruise’, Johnson and the British actress sat down with Bryan Alexander of USA TODAY. In the conversation, Johnson was questioned about whether he needed a stunt double to do an underwater sequence from the film. Blunt went on to roast him for his swimming prowess and told a story in response.

She hilariously stated, “He sinks like a rock. He has no fat on him; he doesn’t have an ounce of floaty fat on him. The man sinks like a rock. I had to like keep him up. So in between, I’m just gonna ruin your street cred, I’m sorry. In between takes, they would bring in flotation devices to try and keep him afloat.”

The Great One’s lack of swimming ability was particularly shocking given that Johnson had starred in ‘Baywatch‘ and other movies that necessitated him to swim. Also, Blunt frequently pokes fun at him, and this is likely another time the two exchanged some witty banter with each other. Meanwhile, Johnson is all set to star in his new film, ‘Black Adam’.
