Cena, who played Peacemaker, was a member of The Suicide Squad, and is another notable member of the DC Extended Universe. However, Johnson’s film clearly outperforms Cena’s in terms of box office collection on the first day.

In terms of their Hollywood careers, Johnson is undoubtedly a little ahead of The Champ despite the fact that Cena has made remarkable success with his unique Peacemaker role. The Suicide Squad grossed $12.2 million on day one, which is in comparison to a $175 million budget, to give you a little context. On the other hand, Johnson’s Black Adam had a $195 million budget. Comfortably made $26,8 million in the USA on Friday. This is due to the fact that there has been a lot of anticipation for Black Adam over the years, making it one of the most so.

Additionally, the promotions were on a huge scale and included the NFL, NBA, and ongoing cricket T20 World Cup. Not to forget, there was anticipation for Superman’s appearance in the film, which happened in the post-credit scenes as well. The one thing that is certain is that it appears to have sufficient time to beat the overall box office totals of the movie, but the real question is whether it will top Dwayne Johnson’s Furious 7, which brought in $1.5 billion.
