800M Worth Dwayne Johnson Single-Handedly Out-Earned Black Adam’s Star Cast’s Combined Salary

Nobody can simply enter and take over a sector that is unfamiliar to them, but Dwayne Johnson is an exception. Meanwhile, The Rock is the highest in the game thanks to his principles of being the hardest worker in the room. Arguably, he holds the top seat as the biggest Hollywood action superstar. Interestingly, he outperformed Will Smith in terms of pay the year before, making him one of the highest-paid actors.

Notably, according to recent reports, Johnson received enormous compensation for his newest film, Black Adam, which was even higher than the salaries of all of his main co-actors combined. The Teth Adam actor continued to rule the industry, once again proving his value.

Johnson received $22.5 million for his film, Black Adam, this year, according to a Variety report that was published in July 2022 detailing the salaries of the year’s highest-paid actors. This is notable considering Henry Cavill made about $14 million for Man of Steel, Jason Momoa received $15 million for Aquaman 2, and Joaquin Phoenix received $20 million for Joker. Consequently, he became the company’s highest-paid actor.

In addition to Johnson’s supremacy in DC, current claims are possibly more intriguing since they revealed that The Rock receives a far higher acting salary than the whole cast. The other actors’ earnings, according to ShowBiz Galore, are as follows:

Aldis Hodge, aka Hawkman: $1 million, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate: $2 million, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher: $700,000, Sarah Shahi as Isis: $600,000, and Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael took home $400,000. Interestingly, after combining the total sum of salary, it only comes to $4.7 million! Johnson, on the other hand, made $22.5 million by himself.

DJ’s earnings tell us a lot about his stature and contribution to the industry. Not to forget that Johnson outperformed Hollywood superstar Will Smith in terms of earnings last year. The Rock reportedly made more money than Smith ($40 million). The Rock earned $42 million from his two films, Red Notice and Jungle Cruise, making him the highest-paid actor in 2021.

The first week of his most recent movie, just like him, brought in a whopping $83 M. Johnson will undoubtedly have his eyes set on the film’s numbers and strive to beat his previous best.
