The two wrestlers put on a banger of a show when the WWE Universe witnessed them colliding inside the squared circle.

Damian Priest creates history at WWE SummerSlam

The constant back and forth between Sheamus and Priest made the match special and cements Priest as a big-time performer when he slew the ‘Celtic Warrior’ for the US Championship.

Right off the bat, the two wrestlers lock up, tangling into the corner and the ropes. However, Sheamus gets an upper hand when he created separation when he put Priest down to the ground.

During the match, Sheamus had the upper hand against Priest when he attacked him outside the ropes and incapacitated the challenger; however, Sheamus delivered a devastating backbreaker to Priest, taking some time to flex his biceps.

Sheamus wastes more time and talks trash while Priest is down as fans boo him. He then looks to catch Priest with a big Spinebuster but Priest turns it into a DDT which buys him some time.

During the last moments of the match, Sheamus puts Priest in a hold while lying on the mat; however, Priest breaks the hold and takes off Sheamus’ face mask.
