On WWE Raw, AJ Styles took on Kofi Kingston in a preview for WrestleMania. The Phenomenal One and Omos will challenge the New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championships in Tampa Bay. But before getting to Tampa Bay, it seems the New Day is already living in AJ Styles’ head rent-free.

During the match, AJ Styles dominated Kofi and was about to put him away with the Phenomenal Forearm. As Styles went for the springboard, Xavier Woods distracted the former WWE Champion with his trombone.
What many fans didn’t realise is that Woods played AJ Styles’ old theme from TNA. Back when Styles was still not the best wrestler in the world in TNA, he used a theme called ‘Get Ready to Fly’.
This was synonymous with Styles’ offence, which employed a ton of high-flying moves which he doesn’t perform today.

The music from Francesca the Trombone distracted Styles for long enough, allowing Kofi Kingston to recover in the ring. As Styles attempted the Phenomenal Forearm again, Kofi caught him and connected with the SOS for the 1-2-3.
Prior to the match, Woods and Kingston put Omos and AJ Styles’ friendship to the test. They asked Styles what’s Omos’ favourite colour and flavour of ice cream and professional wrestler.
Styles claimed red was Omos’ favourite colour, but the giant revealed it was actually mauve, a pale purple colour. Styles got cocky and claimed he was Omos’ favourite wrestler, only to realise it’s actually Andre the Giant.
Will these seeds of doubt come in handy at WrestleMania, or will AJ Styles become a Grand Slam Champion?

Before coming to WWE and becoming Xavier Woods, Consequences Creed was a promising up-and-coming talent in TNA. During his time there, he was part of a faction called Frontline, which included stars who featured in WWE as well, like Samoa Joe, Eric Young, Alex Shelley, and, of course, AJ Styles.
Though Styles and Woods never faced each other, most fans don’t recognise that they are a lot similar than we think they are. During his stint in TNA, Woods was part of a tag team with current ROH superstar Jay Lethal.
