Hulk Hogan has been known to be many things throughout his wrestling career. From being the face of the company to the biggest name in pro wrestling. However, in the recent few years, a new title has been added to that list: ‘ Being a liar.’
At 70, with his golden day way in the backview mirror, incidents have come to light that make Hogan out to be completely different from what we know him as. Furthermore, Hogan has gained a reputation for lying to make his history seem richer. One of these recent lies was caught by a legend of wrestling.

Jim Cornette is a legend in the pro wrestling community. With his work in the WWE and other promotions, he has earned his name in the history books. He is among the few managers still part of the wrestling world and one whose opinion still matters to fans. His podcast is among the most listened to by wrestling fans.
During Episode 306 of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, Cornette sat down to comment on the recent interview Muscle and Health magazine did with The Hulkster. During the interview, Hogan narrated a story that has rubbed fans the wrong way concerning the death of a child. While listening to the discussion, Cornette cracks up several times and calls out his lies.
According to the interview, Hogan was in a match at Wembley Stadium, which, according to Cornette, is a blatant lie as Hogan never wrestled at Wembley. Hogan narrates the story, making the co-host, David Bixenspan, question if Hogan is a true definition of a sociopath. To this Cornette replied the following.
“Either he’s just thinking these people are complete idiots because I didn’t even do research on how to lie about this well,” Cornette said. This addressed the entire timeline Hogan created for this story. Since the release of this interview, Hogan has been getting heat for not just fabricating a story but one involving a child’s death.

Cornette debunks Hogan’s lies with facts
During the entire interview, Cornette debunks everything that Hogan says—starting with wrestling at Wembley, which, according to Cornette, Hogan was never part of. The only match ever at Wembley was SummerSlam 1992. Hogan also mentions the appearance of Micheal Jackson and Mr. T. While Mr. T was part of WrestleMania since its inception, Jackson was never associated with the company.
Hogan talks about bringing English record producer Simon Cowell to the US to record albums, which Cornette shoots down immediately. Cowell did help the WWE produce WrestleMania: The Album, but nothing else before that. According to Hogan, he got several celebs to feature on his album, which went #1. Cornette claimed that if that happened, people would never stop talking about it, and the fact that Hogan claims even to know Cowell is slander.
