Paul Heyman had a conversation with Ryan Satin, where they discussed John Cena at length. Heyman had nothing but praises for the WWE mega star.
While talking about Cena, Heyman revealed that he thoroughly appreciates Cena’s work ethics. In fact, he gave an example that would definitely impress anybody.
“The man had some time at home and said ‘you know, I should learn Mandarin’ and not only learned how to speak it but he understands it so if someone would communicate with him in Mandarin. That’s a work ethic.”

During the same conversation with Ryan Sayin, Heyman expressed that The Invisible Man is capable of doing whatever he wants to. The reason he’s successful is because of his incredible work ethics and enthusiasm about the work he’s doing.
“I think John Cena would excel at anything he chose to do in life. I mean, you know, they talk about Super Cena. He’s Super human. His work ethic is super human and he’s passionate about it and he’s enthusiastic about it. There’s a reason why he’s John Cena. There’s a reason why he’s so successful. He deserves all the credit in the world.”
Hence, Heyman knew that Roman Reigns would have a difficult time defeating John Cena. Therefore, The Tribal Chief had to be ready with everything he has!
“We’re not stepping in there with Joey Baloney. You know, it’s not Tony Tomato Can. We’re stepping into the ring with the guy, with the man. With the biggest box office attraction in WWE and Sports Entertainment and in movies for the past decade and a half. And someone who over delivers.”

Currently, John Cena has taken a break from WWE, and there’s no news about when he will return. It’s possible the reason WWE brought back Brock Lesnar to WWE at SummerSlam 2021 and not before is to have Reigns’ next feud ready before Cena takes his break.

Now, John Cena was a babyface, but Lesnar is heel. After working the classic babyface vs heel angle, WWE will most likely focus on the brutal heel vs heel angle with Lesnar and Reigns.
