The wrestling world has completely changed since Vince McMahon did the unexpected by retiring from WWE. His whole life, the man gave his all to build something that will outlast him. But he had hoped that he would be at the top of his company till the end of his life. Unfortunately, fate had some other plans for the 77-year-old man who changed the wrestling business forever.

The billionaire is one of the few people who truly understood the business and worked hard to make his vision a reality. While his dedication to the sport would always be remembered, we hope he has a relaxing life in retirement. MJF, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, sat with 411Mania for a little talk about wrestling history. When asked about Vince McMahon retiring from WWE, he said, “I mean, look. If people out there think he’s [Vince McMahon] miserable right now — it’s hard for me to believe. He’s probably crying into a bed of money in his mansion in Connecticut. I think he’s fine. Not that he should be if he did do all these horrible things.”
MJF has been the hottest thing to come out of AEW in the few years the company has been open. Despite not being crowned the champion till the writing of this article, MJF has put on bangers after bangers. His feuds with many, from legends like Chris Jericho to Brian Pillman Jr. have been nothing short of amazing.

Wrestling fans, old and new, have been behind him from the beginning of his career only because of one thing, kayfabe. A lost art in wrestling in which the wrestler keeps his wrestling persona in front of any camera. MJF has been amazing doing this as his character is nothing but a man who knows he is better than everyone else around him.
