“He’s Not There”: Dwayne Johnson Finally Picks a Side In a Fight Between Black Adam And Superman

A few days ago, Dwayne Johnson came out with his first superhero movie, ‘Black Adam’. There was much hype surrounding the film, which featured the anti-hero character for the first time on the big screen. One factor that added to the hype around the movie was the rumored appearance of actor Henry Cavill as Superman.

Indeed, Superman does make an appearance in the post-credit scene of the movie. Fans are now expecting a much larger role for the Man of Steel in the DC Extended Universe. They also hope to see a possible confrontation with DJ’s Black Adam.

In fact, the former WWE Champion has himself teased going up against Superman a few times. The Rock recently talked about Black Adam’s superpowers and how he measures up to Superman.

Dwayne Johnson said Black Adam was close to Superman

Ever since it was reported that Superman will make an appearance in Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’, fans have been dreaming of a clash between the two characters on screen. Comic book fans have also started comparing the two based on their powers to see who comes out on top.

Now, The Rock has weighed in on the matter himself. In the past, the Hollywood star has said that Black Adam has all the powers of Superman, but he is also blessed with magic, which makes a difference. However, in a recent appearance for AMC Theatres in a video, Johnson hinted at who is the stronger between Black Adam and Superman in the DECU.

He said that Black Adam measures up to DC’s titular character when it comes to superpowers but is slightly behind. DJ also mentioned that Black Adam’s strength in comparison to Superman is close enough to let the fans wonder who will win in a fight.

The Rock said, “When it comes to super powers one of the coolest things about Black Adam is that he goes pound for pound with Superman. Here’s Superman, Black Adam is right there. He’s not there. But he’s right there and just enough that would make you think I don’t know who would win that one.”

Moreover, he also added that the movie needed to showcase Adam’s strengths in the beginning. ‘The Brahma Bull’ added, “In order to create that question, you gotta show his force and power in the beginning of the movie. And that’s what we did.”

‘The Great One’ seems to have picked Superman as the strongest between him and Black Adam. But from his words, the anti-hero will soon be on the same level as the ‘Man of Steel’.
