Roman Reigns continues to occupy a substantial part of the everyday WWE gossip, even after his Bloodline family saw a massive implosion. Fans still acknowledge the Head of the Table and desperately want to have him on his boots on the WWE programming a little more frequently. So, now, they naturally seem to have ants in their pants to know what the company cooks next for their prized superstar after his upcoming Tribal Combat with cousin Jey Uso at SummerSlam. The recent reports suggest the dynamics of WWE could look different for the next few months.
Roman Reigns’ post-SummerSlam status comes as beneficial news for Jey Uso fans
WWE didn’t compromise even a bit when it comes to promoting live events. Even before the SummerSlam reached the destination, the promotion for the next lined-up PLEs, including Payback, Fastlane, and Survivor Series is already in full swing. And guess what, fans couldn’t spot Roman Reigns anywhere in the advertisements.

Now, it implies two different directions for the Undisputed Universal WWE champion. One is he will go on a hiatus following the SummerSlam bout. It seems more than viable as Reigns was already working on a limited schedule for the last one and a half years. Apart from these, given all the recent catastrophes he was embroiled in, it won’t be a surprise if the 38-year-old put a temporary pause on his career.

Now the second one will probably be more fascinating for Jey Uso fans. Even if half of the WWE world backs up the Tribal Chief for a sure-shot win in his fight against Jey Uso, his potential post-SummerSlam absence indicates the opposite.
Jey Uso fans seem to be elated, smelling the hint.

Nonetheless, fans seem to be high on assumptions about Jey Uso dethroning Reigns on Twitter regarding the issue.

That's because Jey is winning, allowing him to take a break, come back at Royal Rumble, win the title back and lead us to Cody/Roman II at Wrestlemania.

According to some, Jey will be the new Tribal Chief

One fan shoots a direct raw prediction. As per him, Jey Uso will uproot Roman Reigns, eventually leading him toward retirement.

However, some fans didn’t go with the above stances at all. With that said, they aren’t opposing this out of the blue. They have their logic on point, too.
WWE had many previous instances of keeping matches secret for big superstars to hold the fans’ attention longer. Especially, for Roman Reigns, it’s nothing new. So, this time also, WWE is likely playing their suspense game. At least, fans hope so.

Some fans can even make peace with Reigns’ absence at Payback, Fastlane. But they can’t really see a Survivor series miss out.
