“He’s Finished”: WWE Fans Make Wild Predictions as Vince McMahon Cuts Weird Promo on SmackDown

Vince McMahon is under investigation after news circulated over allegations that he paid $3 million to a former employee with whom he had previously had an affair. However, WWE fans have been speculating about the future of WWE and the McMahon family.

The chairperson announced that he is stepping down from his position in the company. Furthermore, his daughter Stephanie McMahon will be the interim chairperson of WWE in the meantime.

Also, WWE announced Vince McMahon was scheduled for this week’s episode of SmackDown. They posted it on their Twitter saying, “Mr. McMahon will appear on SmackDown tonight at 8 PM ET live on FOX.”

The boss of WWE appeared on the blue brand before the Friday Night show kicked off with its matches. WWE tweeted about the appearance of Mr. McMahon, saying, “Mr. McMahon addresses the WWE Universe on #SmackDown.”

The WWE universe, who were eagerly tuned to SmackDown, hoped Mr. McMahon will address the arena and talk about the recent allegations against him. However, it turned out to be the complete opposite of what everyone expected.

Vince McMahon came out and said the tagline of WWE, “Then, Now and Forever”, appeared when the show started. He added one more word ‘Together’ to it and welcomed the Minnesota crowd to SmackDown. 

WWE Universe reacts to Vince McMahon addressing fans on SmackDown

The crowd chanted Vince McMahon’s name on the show before he entered the ring. By the reaction in the arena, it seemed the WWE Universe was eager to listen to Mr. McMahon. However, it disappointed the fans when Mr. McMahon spoke nothing about his stepping down as the chairperson. Also, everyone was confused about the appearance of Vince McMahon on SmackDown.

Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon are not together

After the allegations floating around about Vince McMahon, there are more rumors about him. The rumors regarding Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon are that they are no longer staying together. Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio shared his thoughts on this matter.

Meltzer, while commenting on Vince and Linda McMahon’s relationship, which is for over 50 years, said they are still married but are no longer together. He said, “Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.” (H/T Inside the Ropes Wrestling).

Another speculation Meltzer made was that if Stephanie McMahon knew about this settlement. He thinks there might be a possibility for this investigation and Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence having connections.
