Velveteen Dream was at the pinnacle of his career when he was working for WWE’s NXT brand. The company pushed Dream to the moon and even made him the NXT North American Champion. During his course in WWE, Dream turned quite a few WWE legend’s heads because of his sheer brilliance One such legend is ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Kurt Angle himself.

Kurt Angle confessed on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, that he wants to face the former NXT UK Champion, Velveteen Dream, inside the squared circle.

Kurt Angle respects the talent Velveteen Dream has

Before his release, Dream became synonymous with NXT and feuded with the likes of Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa, the Undisputed Era and Buddy Murphy.

When WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was asked about his favorite wrestler to face from the NXT roster, he immediately said Velveteen Dream.

Angle talked about the talent Dream posses and his in-ring chemistry with his fellow wrestlers. Angle took a leap and claimed he is an “exceptional” performer.

“I love the kid. I’m crazy about him. He’s extremely talented. I think he’s got a lot of interest in him and fans seem to take to him pretty well, I think he’s exceptional.” Kurt said.

However, the wrestling fans are certain that the ‘Wrestling Machine’ will not get back inside the ring because of all the critical injuries he sustained.

Angle jokingly said that he is ready to face the current AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega if offered millions of dollars. Nevertheless, Angle choosing Dream over other talent speaks for Dream’s accolades.
