Ric Flair revealed his backstage issue with Sami Zayn

But no matter how much talented Zayn is with his gimmicks, former Hall of Famer Ric Flair seemingly has some issues with his backstage interaction. The former Honorary Uce has also made a few more stars offended by his certain behaviors and gestures.

Recently, speaking to Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair opened up about his communication gap and backstage heat with Zayn. Flair noted, ‘For me, personally, when I got to make small talk to get along with Sami Zayn… that’s all I’ve got to say.

Flair compares Zayn to Kevin Owens

The name that is synonymous with Sami Zayn is none other than Kevin Owens. Their friendship and rivalry have been one of the biggest storylines in WWE. With both being amazing wrestlers, the duo creates magic in the ring. Ric Flair, however, thinks Kevin is much better than Zayn. Comparing them with each other and describing how Kevin respects him, he added, ‘When I got to walk through to make small talk… with Kevin Owens — who is 10 times the performer and a great guy – who understands and respects who I am; and Sami Zayn kind of easing around in the hallway and I got to make small talk to connect with him, he’s done in my book.”

Nevertheless, speculation suggests that Zayn and Owens are set to face off against The Usos match at WrestleMania 39. However, we are yet to see if it will mark the end of the Zayn-Owens faction since they both are moving with the same goal of taking down The Bloodline.
