The Road to WrestleMania is underway, and most matches for the biggest show of the year are in the works. We might get Edge challenging one of the World Champions of Raw, SmackDown or NXT. However, a certain Bobby Lashley wants things to happen a little differently.

The CEO of the Hurt Business wants a WrestleMania match of epic proportions. His idea involves a triple threat match at WrestleMania with Brock Lesnar and the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. He revealed this in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

McIntyre has beaten both Lashley and Lesnar in 2020, but the current US Champion feels he has unfinished business with Drew. Lashley has been calling Brock Lesnar out for quite a while, but the Beast has not responded to his challenges.

“I want that fight, I want that title. Drew is old-school. He fits into any era. He’s tough, he’s real. We have a lot of unfinished business. Adding Brock always adds a lot. He’s as real as it gets, and he’s someone I want in the ring. So I’m open to that, but me and Drew can do it on our own, too. There are a lot of options, which is great for everyone.”

Brock and Bobby have a common MMA background. Both men are enormous, burly men who can toss opponents halfway across the ring, and a match between the two would be a titanic clash.

“I’ve never talked to Brock, I don’t even know Brock really well,” said Lashley. “So, it’s usually through his advocate or someone else that you can even get any kind of dialogue. So, I’m not the one to ask that question. It’s those other guys, ’cause I’m ready.'”

Bobby Lashley is a domineering presence on Monday Night Raw. Amongst the poor wrestling and terrible storylines that have plagued Raw since the Brand Split, Lashley has been a breath of fresh air.

The United States Championship looks magnificent around the waist of the Almighty, but we all know he’s destined for bigger things. He challenged for the WWE Championship at Backlash 2020 but lost to McIntyre.

Bobby is way too good to be a mid-card champion. If WWE wants to put the belt on a top heel, Bobby Lashley can be the number one choice. He is Goliath to the many Davids on Raw, and the sooner WWE realise this potential, the better.
