Everyone knows about the conflict in the Mysterio family right now. Even though their historic father vs. son match at WrestleMania 39 settled things, Dominik Mysterio is not stopping his crude comments to his Hall of Famer father.

Appearing on The Bump, the NXT North American Champion was asked to answer some social media questions, and one of them involved his father. So, the hosts asked him if he felt any kind of pride as both father and son were singles champions in the company at the same time.
He answered, “I think it’s kind of sad that he feels the need to win a title to overshadow what I’m doing. But it doesn’t matter, cause he’s the United States Champion and I’m the Champion of all of North America, which includes the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I think it’s kind of sad that my dad feels the need to overshadow me with his singles title, but whatever, he’s a deadbeat.”
With the father-son pair winning the tag titles and now becoming singles champions as well, it’s safe to say that both are thriving on their brands. But Dominik’s comments suggest he may not be done with his father yet. But will we ever see them colliding once again in the future? Seeing as both are champions right now, a champion vs. champion would make for an excellent match.

With the upcoming Survivor Series, this is the perfect time for that match as well reigniting a rivalry between the father and son. Or this could also turn into a huge rivalry between the LWO and Judgment Day, leading to Dominik Mysterio’s first WarGames match at the Survivor Series PLE instead.
