Charlotte Flair didn’t get the luck by her side during WrestleMania 39 and ended up losing her coveted title. After putting in a strenuous effort for 23 minutes, Flair lost to Rhea Ripley. It was certainly a major setback for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.

But no matter whether Flair wins or losses, the Queen never holds back to accept any challenge in the squared circle. Staying true to this very nature of her, she recently came up with a gracious acceptance of the former WWE Hall of Famer, Medusa’s retirement match challenge.

Medusa, also known as Alundra Blayze, has been mostly away from the ring for the last few years. But the three-time WWE Women’s Champions earlier detailed how she wants to draw the ending line of her long illustrious career. The star revealed her wish to have one final dance in the squared circle and named a few wrestlers, including Charlotte Flair, as one of her dream opponents.

While Rhea Ripley has already accepted the WWE  legend’s challenge, Flair followed the same path after a month. During a recent interview with TV Insider, the former Women’s SmackDown Champion stated that it would add to her glory to stand across the legendary ex-WWE talent in the ring. Flair noted, ‘I would be honored to have her retirement match. That’s the first time I actually responded to the challenge. So here you go.”

Speaking of Medusa, she last wrestled in the 20 Women Battle Royal at Evolution PPV back in 2018. So, it will be pretty exciting to see her lace her boots alongside the one and only Charlotte Flair.

On the other hand, it’s very likely for Flair to resume her in-ring schedule shortly, following a temporary break after ‘Mania.
