Cody Rhodes retained his coveted WWE Undisputed Universal Championship belt in a blood-shedding match in Glasgow. However, after putting Styles in his place, the American Nightmare hardly got to live his moment as The Bloodline crept up from behind. The young squad of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa set out to punish Rhodes until Randy Orton and Kevin Owens came out to even the odds.

The unexpected nature of the attack led the wrestling faithful to stand up and take notice. Not only the wrestling fans but also a WWE legend with a deep connection to the Bloodline story reacted to the chain of events.

What does Rikishi have to say about The Bloodline’s Cody Rhodes’ beatdown?

The Hall of Famer has been a keen watcher of his sons’ antics inside and outside the bloodline and never refrains from letting his sentiment out. Starting from picking sides between his twins, Jimmy and Jey Uso during their grudge WrestleMania fight to reflecting on Solo Sikoa’s growing sway in the division, the Samoan Stinker always engages with the WWE narrative. Tonight, when Rhodes survived a beat down from The Bloodline, Rikishi expressed his shock. Talking to his Instagram, the 58-year-old legend asked in utter disbelief, “The Bloodline is here???”

The Bloodline didn’t engage in a match during the PLE held in Scotland. Nevertheless, they outlined their intentions during the show. While Sikoa reignites his past rivalry with the American Nightmare in a belligerent move that might portray a sign of loyalty to Reigns, that isn’t the case, according to Rikishi.

Rikishi can see a new challenge brewing for his son Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa has clearly been on a mission to outdo The Tribal Chief and sit atop the faction for once and all. Following a post-WrestleMania lull in the Bloodline narrative amidst Roman Reigns’ and The Rock’s absence, the Enforcer assumed control of the steering wheel and injected some momentum in the form of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa’s strategic inclusion into the faction.

In a jacked-up SmackDown edition, Sikoa ousted Jimmy Uso from the faction alongside Tonga, paying zero heed to the Wise Man. Ever since, the formidable trio of Sikoa, Tonga, and Loa have been ruling over the world. But Rikishi believes the terror will ultimately culminate in a singles match between Solo Sikoa and Roman upon the latter’s return. Reigns’ eventual claim of his kingdom will trigger Sikoa, who won’t be ready to give up on his sway, so early as per Rikishi.

It will be interesting to see where the Bloodline will move next with the ever-changing dynamic of the storyline. What’s your take on Rikishi reacting to Bloodline’s shock attack on Cody Rhodes post the title match last night? Let us know in the comments.
