Ever since her wrestling hiatus, fans have been wondering where they would catch Sasha Banks next. While the female wrestler has dropped several hints regarding a potential appearance at WWE, some still believe that there is a slight chance that she may end up signing with AEW. According to a WWE legend, the latter move would be devastating for her career.
The reason why Eric Bischoff believes that Sasha Banks shouldn’t choose AEW over WWE is not just because he has previously worked with the Stamford-based company, but also because he believes that Tony Khan is incapable of utilizing her full potential.

Shedding light on the ongoing discussion about whether Banks would sign with WWE or AEW, Eric Bischoff finally gave his honest opinion in a clip from his podcast 83 Weeks. In the clip, he can be seen talking to Conrad Thompson about how AEW wouldn’t be the ideal choice for Banks at this point.
While talking on the podcast about the possibility of Banks joining AEW, Thompson revealed that Tony Khan can pay Banks more than what WWE would pay her. After calling out Khan for being a ‘trust fund baby’, Bischoff revealed how joining AEW would negatively impact Mercedes Mone’s wrestling career.
The WWE legend started by saying, “Could she make more money with Tony? Yes. But her career as a star is effectively over at that point.” Bischoff then added, “And if you don’t agree, not you, but if one doesn’t agree with that statement, look at any other former ‘WWE Star’ that is better off today than they were at the peak of their careers in WWE.”
Bischoff also dragged other ex-WWE stars who joined AEW for a higher-paying contract by implying that their potential was not well-used after they left the Stamford-based company.
Amongst these discussions, Bischoff would be pleased to know that Banks is in discussions with WWE while nothing similar has been heard about Tony Khan’s promotion.
