Tonight’s WWE Raw episode was the aftermath of last week’s episode. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson beat up Cody Rhodes to a pulp. However, Seth Rollins was there for retribution. Unfortunately, Rollins doesn’t have the cleanest record when it comes to sticking up for his teammates. In a backstage moment, Rollins said something that made fans online go crazy with theories of an upcoming betrayal.

Rollins and Rhodes will be teaming up on WrestleMania XL Night #1 to face The Rock and Roman Reigns. Tonight gave the WWE Universe a taste of what was to come at Mania, or did it?

Tonight’s WWE RAW episode began with The Rock and The Bloodline gloating about what happened to Rhodes last week. Their celebration was cut short by The Architect Seth Rollins. Coming out from the crowd, Rollins challenged The Rock or Roman Reigns to a match. However, Solo Sikoa accepted it, and Johnson claimed Bloodline Rules were in effect.

While making his way to the ring, Rollins was stopped for a backstage interview. Here he said, “If you know that well, I’ve always got a Plan B.” Tonight, it proved that the Plan B was Rhodes who came out to save Rollins from The Rock. However, online WWE fans were quick to connect this to the day The SHIELD broke up.

On the RAW June 2, 2014, episode, Triple H came out to say, “Tonight is Plan B. There’s always a Plan B.” This was the cue for Rollins to turn on his SHIELD brothers and dissolve the group. With the very similar wording that Rollins used tonight, fans quickly took to social media to express their flashbacks to that unfortunate night and hint at an upcoming betrayal.

But why would Seth Rollins turn on Cody Rhodes?

Did you know that Rhodes has beaten Rollins 22 times in singles matches? Yes, now, while people put their past aside for the greater good, Rollins doesn’t seem to be one of those people. When Rhodes returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 38, he faced and beat The Visionary. All this has led fans to believe that Rollins could turn on the former AEW star for revenge. Here are the top reactions.

Fans have speculated that either The Rock would turn on Reigns or Rollins would turn on Rhodes. There is also the possibility that Rollins could cost Rhodes the match.

The one line of “Plan B” sent the WWE Universe into an online frenzy. Fans began speculating whether this was a hint of a possible betrayal coming up.
