Heartbreaking Update on Sara Lee’s Untimely Demise Seven Months After Her Passing Away

The passing away of former WWE developmental talent Sara Lee saddened the wrestling world last year. At the time of her death, she was married to wrestler Wesley Blake and together they have three children. The reason for her passing away wasn’t known by anyone. 

However, a recent report sheds light on the reason for Lee’s death that happened last year. Clearly, after learning about the reason, nobody will think this was the cause of the 2015’s Tough Enough winner’s passing away.

The real reason for Sara Lee’s death revealed

Recently, TMZ shared a report seven months after Lee’s unfortunate demise, which stated the reason for her death. As per their report, the late WWE developmental star died by suicide. 

In their article, TMZ reported, “In the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office documents, officials say Lee ingested a lethal combination of alcohol and pills. They added that the former wrestler had left “letters of intent at the scene” before her death.”

Moreover, the report said, “According to officials in the documents, Lee had bruises and abrasions on her head and body at the time of her passing — though they suspected she may have suffered the injuries in a fall or falls while in an intoxicated state.”

Lee was 30 years old at the time she passed away. The entire wrestling world had shared their condolences over the sudden demise of Lee. Furthermore, several WWE stars who spent time with her in NXT also shared their prayers through social media.

As a winner of the sixth season of Tough Enough, Lee quickly came into the mainstream. She received a one-year WWE contract after winning the show and wrestled in a few matches.

In September 2015, WWE sent her to the Performance Center for some time. She returned to the ring in January 2016 at a NXT Live event where she cut a heel promo. However, a few months later, in September 2016, WWE released her from her contract. Nevertheless, this is not the first report that explained the reasoning behind her death.

A previous report on how Sara Lee passed away

In March this year, PEOPLE’s shared a report in which they shared a possible reason for Sara Lee’s death. One of their source who is close to Lee’s family shared she “was heavily drinking [the night she died]”.

Moreover, their source said, “He [Westin] had just come back from working in Orlando. He took the kids somewhere and came back and found her. It was sudden. It wasn’t intentional and it was accidental.”

Furthermore, their report stated Lee wasn’t the type of person that one would “think would do this”. It was sudden for them as there were no signs hinting toward the same.
