There are several stories about WWE Superstars that fans do not get to know until the company releases them during special shows. In the latest episode of WWE Network’s Untold Stories, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash gave away some of their stories.
One such story was about the time when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall left WWE to join WCW in 1996. It so happened that Nash and Hall left the company to join WCW because of money, and Shawn Michaels did not appreciate that.
Between 1993 and 1996, Michaels, Nash, and Hall had quite a few storylines.

“From Shawn’s standpoint, Shawn is looking at me and Scott going, ‘You motherf*****s,’” Nash said. “‘You guys let me put you over around the world, have five-star matches, you guys are both cashing in on it and you’re taking two of my five best guys for me not to work with? I could’ve had a nine-month run with each of you two.’ He was p****d and he had every reason to be.” H/t Sportskeeda.
However, there is a reason Kevin Nash transitioned. Nash’s aim was to earn money as a professional wrestler. On the other hand, Shawn Michaels wanted to be at the top of the roster and be the WWE Champion. Hence, when more money came knocking on the door, Nash took it.
Shawn Michaels wanted to bring Kevin Nash to WWE
WWE partnered Kevin Nash with HBK when he first arrived in WWE. However, Vince McMahon wasn’t ready to bring Nash onboard when Michaels first mentioned him.
Later, it was Rick Steiner who got in touch with Nash on Michaels’ behalf, and Nash immediately agreed. Within days, he had taken his release from the company he was working with, and WWE flew him down to begin his training.

When Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash met, the former informed the latter about his reputation in the locker room. He wanted to warn Nash about it in case the rest of the guys in the locker room influenced him in another direction.

Fortunately for Michaels, Kevin Nash knew what he wanted. Therefore, he assured HBK that he would always have his back. Shawn Michaels revealed this was an emotional moment for him.

Michaels and Nash (Diesel) formed Two Dudes With Attitude (tag team) and won the tag team title twice.
