Nakamura on The Beast’s disrespect for the promotion

The match moved the Japanese pro wrestler to an extent that he mentioned it in his King of Strong-Style book. His words are quite straightforward in the book and explain a lot about Lesnar. He described Brock as being disrespectful to the promotion.

Even though The Next Big Thing spoke about how he respects New Japan, his actions depicted a different story.

He wrote, “First, Lesnar was saying all this stuff about how he respected New Japan, but it felt to me like that was just for show, that he didn’t really respect the promotion. Like, somewhere, he was looking down on Japanese people.”

It felt to The Black Saviour that the American wrestler had little value for the match. All this left Nakamura heartbroken.
