“He Wants to Freaking Kill You!” – Ex-WWE Executive Once Revealed How Brock Lesnar Ensured He Never Talked to His Wife Sable Ever Again

Brock Lesnar is a brute force of nature. It’s difficult to even hold him off in the ring, never mind outside of it. Years of training and hard work have made him the unstoppable beast that he is today. Lesnar has made a career out of destroying his opponents in the squared circle as well as the octagon. And it is no coincidence that people still picture pure decimation whenever they hear his name popping up.

A professional rivalry with him takes a toll on his opponents, but what happens when The Beast picks a personal beef with someone? A former WWE Executive learned this lesson the hard way.

The former executive in question is none other than Vince Russo. He had been in the industry long enough to know that he shouldn’t have ruffled Lesnar’s feathers. Russo has had successful stints as a creative with the erstwhile WCW, WWE, and also TNA.

Russo revealed how he ended up on Brock Lesnar’s hit list

Vince Russo revealed in an interview with Sean Oliver in 2016 how he once evoked Lesnar’s angry side. Russo was discussing Lesnar’s wife Rena, aka Sable, when the aforementioned incident came up.

He said,  “I wanted her (Sable) to come work at TNA okay so I got her phone number and I called her on the phone, a guy answers the phone. I said can I talk to Rena Marlette. Yeah, who’s this? This is Vince Russo I work for TNA. He puts Rena on the phone.”

He further added, “All of a sudden 10 minutes later freaking Kurt Angle Calls me and he goes Vince what did you do. And I’m like what are you talking about? I didn’t do anything he goes Brock Lesnar wants to freaking rip your head off. I said I never even met Brock Lesnar.

He goes, no you never met Brock Lesnar but you just talked to him on the phone you didn’t introduce yourself and then you tell him to put his girlfriend on the phone he goes he wants to freaking kill you. He’s asking me who the F you are. So long story short I haven’t dared call Rena Marlette’s number since.” completed the former executive.

Well, who wouldn’t flinch at the thought of The Conqueror gunning for them? It’s safe to say, Russo took the smart option by never contacting the Lesnar household again. 

Brock Lesnar: A career full of glory

Apart from instilling fear in the minds of people in his bad books, Lesnar enjoyed an illustrious career in the combat sports world. Winning 6-world titles with WWE and a solitary UFC World Heavyweight Championship. In a career spanning two decades, he has won almost all the accolades that are on offer.

His wrestling career is far from over with a recent successful outing at the Crown Jewel event against Bobby Lashley. The feud is set to continue whenever Lesnar decides to set foot in a WWE ring again.

As per Vince Russo’s past experience, it’s fair to say that it’s not wise to mess with Brock Lesnar. And Russo might not have known about Lesnar previously but he certainly got an idea of who he was dealing with. Nevertheless, it’s good that everything ended peacefully for all the parties involved. The Beast can be a difficult proposition to control whether in the ring or outside it, especially when he’s in bad mood. And Russo would consider himself lucky that he didn’t have to bear the brunt of Lesnar’s anger.
