Brock Lesnar shocked the WWE Universe by a sudden departure from the company. His contract expired, which has made him a ‘free agent’. There are numerous other promotions linked with Lesnar right now, and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle weighs in on his situation.

In a recent interview with Wrestling Inc, Angle shared his thoughts about Lesnar joining other promotions.

“Obviously, they’re [WWE] not going to let him go,” said Angle. “Brock’s pretty level headed. He doesn’t get in any trouble. So there’s no reason to fire the kid. He’s a tremendous athlete, a tremendous employee. So I think Brock just got tired of doing it.”

The former WWE Champion and close friend of Brock Lesnar isn’t sure why he would want to quit WWE. However, he seems sure that Lesnar will not move on to AEW.

“I don’t know, I don’t know if he wants to fight again, I don’t know if you want to go to another company. I cannot see him going to another company unless Tony Khan wants to pay him $10-20 million,” explains Angle. “But you never know, but I think Brock should just end his career in WWE.”

Kurt Angle suggested that Brock Lesnar is bored of WWE

Kurt Angle thinks Lesnar may just be tired of the WWE scene. He suggests that Lesnar wants to get in the thick of it.

“I mean the way they treat him and the way he gets paid, I don’t know why he’d not want to just stay,” says Angle. “It’s really up to him, but I think he wants to fight. I think that’s the reason.”

Angle seems to be of a similar mindset to Chris Jericho. “The Demo God” explained in an interview how Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon were very close. Splitting them would be nearly impossible.

He added that the amount of money needed to separate the two would not be a good investment for AEW at the moment.

Kurt Angle, who also wrestled for TNA before returning to WWE, hints that Brock Lesnar wants real fights. This is probably the primary motivation behind Lesnar’s thought process.

We may very well see him return to UFC for some more action. The question is, can Vince McMahon turn him back home?
