“He Thinks He Is the Most Important Person”: Dwayne Johnson Gets Slammed for Being Unprofessional Behind the Scenes

It seems Dwayne Johnson and the DC studios are in a never-ending battle. While things were quiet down over the Black Adam’s time being cut from DC, a new revelation has emerged. Reportedly, the disappointment of Shazam: Fury of Gods is related to the actions of ‘The Brahma Bull’.’ He got slammed for this unprofessional behavior behind the scenes.

Recently, The Wrap shared a report in which they covered that The Rock tried to make Black Adam a centerpiece of the DCEU. A source of The Wrap confirmed this news and CBR covered it. It said, “He’s one of the few people who always thinks he’s the most important person in any situation or room.”

The report stated, “Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, whose behind-the-scenes maneuvering to boost another DC property — “Black Adam,” in which he starred — may well end up tanking both franchises.”

It added, “But in trying to shape “Black Adam” as the new center of the DC Universe — a strategy that failed to bolster “Black Adam” and undercut the once-promising “Shazam” franchise — Johnson may have kneecapped both, painting a portrait of a celebrity who put his own brand before the work.”

Nevertheless, there are more problems in the DCEU that aren’t related to Johnson. One of those is Peter Safran and James Gunn rebuilding the entire DC universe.

The statement further talked about the WWE legend “undermining Shazam” to promote a face-off between Black Adam and Superman. Hence, the reason we saw the Teth Adam movie’s post-credit scene.

This isn’t it all, the report also wrote DJ privately “vetoed” that Shazam and other superheroes to be recruited by Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman in Black Adam’s post-credit scenes. Shazam didn’t quite have the opening weekend after all the DC debacle. Moreover, the fans are blaming The Rock for the disappointment of Shazam’s sequel.

Zachary Levi exposes Dwayne Johnson

After The Wrap shared their exclusive report on the internet, it surprised many fans to learn that. However, Shazam actor Zachary Levi took to Instagram to kind of expose The Great One with The Wrap’s article linked in his story.

The actor wrote, “The truth shall set you free.” followed by the news The Wrap covered in their report regarding The Rock.

Black Adam and Shazam are arch-rivals in the comics and DC wanted to introduce them in one movie. However, the 10-time WWE world champion talked with the studios about Black Adam to have an individual movie.

As a result, DC released Shazam in 2019 and Black Adam came a few years later in 2022. Now after all this, it seems a possible face-off between DJ’s ‘Black Adam’ and Levi’s ‘Shazam’ will never happen.
