“He Smelled Too Bad”: WWE Legend Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts Divulges Why Vince McMahon Refused to Make Deceased Hall of Famer a Champion

WWE world/universal championship is the biggest accolade that every superstar wishes to achieve in Vince McMahon’s company. However, there were several superstars in the company, who had never won any championship in WWE despite being a phenomenal and fan-favorite superstar.

Sometimes the reason was injury or contract termination, or sometimes it was simply because of not being the CEO Vince McMahon’s favorite. 

But lately, WWE legend Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has come forward and given an unusual cause behind a deceased Hall of Famer not winning any championship in WWE. And the deceased Hall of Famer is none other than Big Van Vader.

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts came up with an unusual reason

Recently, WWE legend Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts came up with a strange reason behind why WWE Hall of Famer Big Van Vader never won a championship despite being an incredible wrestler. Roberts claimed that it never happened because Vader ‘smelled too bad’.

And when he was questioned if it could simply be because of Vader’s in-ring gear, then again Roberts refused and stick to his former statement.

“He smelled too bad…..Ring gear my a**, it was him. Yeah, big smelly man”, said jake Roberts.

Even though Jake Roberts is talking about Vader not winning the championship in Vince McMahon’s company, he himself shares this with Big Van Vader. 

Jake Roberts’ only accomplishment in the WWE

If we dig deep into Jake Roberts’ WWE accomplishments, then the only one he has in his accolade is the WWE Hall of Fame. Roberts was never able to win any title in WWE. He stepped inside Vince McMahon’s company in 1986. His only remarkable feud was with Andre the Giant.

However, outside the WWE, Jake Roberts had an amazing career as he captured several championships. Currently, he is signed with Tony Khan’s AEW. There, he is performing the managerial role.

Although Jake has said ‘goodbye’ to WWE, he kept on sharing his views on Vince McMahon and the company.
