Since its inauguration in 2023, there has been only one star who was able to win the title of WWE Heavyweight Champion. To this date, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins holds that title. However, in a tale of deception, Shinsuke Nakamura went against Seth Rollins and challenged him for the title. In an exclusive interview, Nakamura talked about a bad joke by Rollins which makes him an obvious liar.

While talking with Byron Saxton from WWE’s The Bump, Nakamura said that Rollins had made a bad joke. Upon being asked why instead of asking for the championship match, he attacked him, Nakamura said, “He shouldn’t tell such a bad joke,” implying that there’s more to the simple offer made by Rollins.

He further added “Yeah it’s impossible,” stating the low probability of Seth Rollins accepting his challenge if he had straight up asked him for it. Nakamura has attacked Rollins on RAW since issuing a challenge while also exposing Rollins’ underlying back issues. This has added a layer of personal animosity ahead of their title match.

On the last episode of RAW, when Rollins was openly addressing Nakamura on stage over the betrayal and taking up his challenge, Nakamura came out of nowhere and carried out another sneak attack on him, leaving the fans in shock.
