This week’s Friday Night SmackDown saw the commencement of this year’s WWE Draft. The Night One of the draft was divided into four rounds, with four picks each. Each round saw different WWE personalities come out to the stage to make the draft picks announcement.
In the 2nd round of the superstars’ shakeup, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam came out to make the announcement. Michael Hayes accompanied him. During the segment, fans caught an interesting scenario that is going viral all around social media. Let’s find out what is it.

RVD and Hayes made two announcements each. SmackDown got the first pick in the second round as well. The Fabulous Freebird Hayes announced that the blue brand chooses The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) as its pick. The next pick for the same brand was Edge.
WWE assigned Rob Van Dam with making the RAW brands’ announcement. The Flagship Show chose Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser, Giovanni Vinci, and the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Gunther) followed by Matt Riddle as the second pick for the second round.
Let’s now talk about what interesting sight caught the fans’ attention. While making the announcement, RVD was holding his card upside down, while creating a funny moment for the WWE Universe. After the segment, the Twitter world erupted with comments headlining his funny incident.

Night one of the WWE draft quenched fans’ thirst for exciting announcements. The fans saw major shakeups in the RAW and SmackDown rosters.

During the first round, The WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns (along with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman), and the reigning WWE RAW Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair got drafted to SmackDown. Also, Cody Rhodes and Becky Lynch landed on the RAW brand. Triple H presented the first round.
The third round of the draft, announced by Teddy Long and JBL, saw Drew McIntyre and The Miz go to the RAW brand. While The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Mia Yim) and Bobby Lashley were drafted to SmackDown.

Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg presented the fourth and final round of the day. RAW picked Shinsuke Nakamura and Indi Hartwell. Meanwhile, SmackDown chose Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky) and the current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
