“He Is Proud He Trained Her”: Booker T Teared Up at NXT Deadline Leaving Fans in Euphoria

Over the course of WWE, the company has witnessed a fair share of legends. Several of them have reached legendary status and etched a name for themselves in the history books.

One such big name in the professional wrestling world is Booker T. Booker T is one of the greatest performers in the game’s history, and has countless records to his name.

An all-time WWE and WCW Legend, T is known for her wrestling abilities and physicality.

Apart from being a former WWE Wrestler and a commentator, Booker T is also one of the most well-known wrestling trainers. At his school, Reality of Wrestling promotion, he has trained countless future and current WWE prospects.

Recently at NXT Deadline, one of Booker T’s pupils got a huge victory and made history. Roxanne Perez won the first ever Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at the event. She toppled over several potential WWE stars, such as Cora Jade, Kiana James, Indi Hartwell, and Zoey Stark.

Throughout the match, the former King of the Ring showed support for his student, Perez. And ultimately broke down after Roxanne Perez came out victorious from the match.

During Roxanne Perez’s time at ROW, Booker T trained her. She is a former Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion as well.

Fans were ecstatic to see Booker T reacting that way, and they made it known.

Roxanne Perez is a potential WWE star. She has the looks, the skills and everything else needed to make it big in the company. And she proved it right by winning the first ever Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.

After her win, her former trainer could not control his emotions and ultimately broke down in tears.

WWE Fans claimed that Booker T must have felt like a proud father after seeing his student win on such a big occasion.

While many fans also appreciated how beautifully the story was setup, and a trainer broke down in tears after seeing his student win.

While another fan claimed that Booker T is training future World champions.

The 57-year-old is one of the greatest wrestlers and is currently a commentator at NXT. His breaking down moment was extremely emotional and wholesome. However, with no plans of returning to the ring, fans can hope to see Booker T continue as a commentator.
