Former US Champion Austin Theory dared to intervene in The Great One and paid the price. A busy Rock left the show after meeting Cena backstage. But Theory’s friend took the opportunity to accuse Rock.
Grayson Waller accuses The Rock of ignoring fans on his return

WWE sensation Grayson Waller to the promotion’s podcast, The Bump, on 18th October. In the podcast available on YouTube, Austin Theory was talking from the studio while Grayson Waller joined in through a video call.
Grayson Waller talked about the incident involving The Rock who made his WWE return after 4 years. In the interview, he said, “When he came backstage he went round. He walked through the fans in the locker room, who wanted his autograph and thought they could get a photo. And he goes straight to his bus with Pat McAfee and he disappears from Colorado. Coz the Rock didn’t wanna see Grayson Waller.”
It was a reference to the SmackDown show in Colorado on September 15th. The show opened with The Rock and Pat McAfee segment when the duo got interrupted by the 26-year-old Austin Theory. As per Waller, the Rock went backstage and disappeared without interacting with fans after his on-stage moment.
The Australian superstar believes that The Rock didn’t wanna see Grayson Waller who was scheduled to appear in the main event of the night. He invited John Cena as a guest in the Grayson Waller effect before The Bloodline intervened to attack Cena. AJ Styles made the save to aid Cena.
Though the main event had a lot of star power, it was the beat down to Austin Theory at the opening segment that topped the show. But where was Waller when The Rock swept the mat with Theory?

The Australian explains why he didn’t come to Theory’s side
Austin Theory took on The Rock during the opening segment in a verbal tussle. Eventually, it turned out to be a poor decision as The Rock electrified the crowd with a spine buster to Theory. He followed it up with The People’s elbow when Grayson Waller wasn’t present to save his friend.
Waller said in his defense that he forgot something in his car and went back to get it when all of this happened. He said, “And for me, I left something in my car. I had to get something at the start of the show.”
