There are certain milestones in WWE that are not just cherished by the wrestlers but also by fans. Some of these achievements are so huge, that other wrestlers spend their entire careers trying to get there or somewhere near.

Like ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair’s record of ‘16-time World Champion’ or The Tribal Chief’s 1000+ days reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. But one distinctive record holds a special place in the hearts of every WWE fan. We are talking about The Undertaker’s distinguished WrestleMania streak, which Brock Lesnar put an end to. Hall of Famer Kurt Angle feels that The Undertaker should have never lost to Brock Lesnar.

When you talk of WrestleMania, The Undertaker’s winning streak is sure to come to mind. Fans eagerly waited for each and every WrestleMania to see The Deadman demolish every challenger that stood in his way at the biggest stage of wrestling.

The Undertaker was smoothly riding on his streak at 21 wins until ‘The Beast Incarnate’ decided to change the tide. The stage was set at WrestleMania 30 and The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar unfolded in front of a packed stadium of 75,000 roaring fans. The Undertaker tapped out of two destructive F-5’s but he couldn’t handle the 3rd one. And thus Lesnar broke ‘The Streak’ at WrestleMania 30.

On a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show’, his co-host asked Angle which PPV match’s outcome he would change if he could. Kurt replied confidently, “Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar, you know why, he should have kept the streak. His legacy should have been undefeated at WrestleMania, he should have been 32-0. I honestly believe that Undertaker’s legacy should have been that, he deserved that.”

I think every WWE fan will agree with Angle on this. The Undertaker’s streak was one thing that should have just been left untouched till his retirement. It’s the ‘Holy Grail’ that the WWE should have protected at all costs. Generations of wrestlers to come would have always had something to look up to. But who all did The Undertaker defeat during his legendary winning streak?

The Undertaker beat many wrestling legends to maintain ‘The Streak’

It all started at Wrestlemania 7 in 1991 with The Deadman beating Jimmy Snuka. This first win led to a domino effect which was eventually stopped at Wrestlemania 30. After that, he went on to beat Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts at Wrestlemania 8.

His 3rd win will always go down in history as ‘The Battle Of The Giants’. He faced Giant Gonzalez who towered at almost 8 feet and was making mincemeat of The Deadman in broad daylight at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He was taken out on a stretcher only to return a few minutes later to scare the living daylights out of Giant Gonzalez. Later The Undertaker won the match as a result of a disqualification.

After that, he went on to defeat many wrestling juggernauts like his blood-brother Kane, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista, and Edge. He even beat Shawn Michaels twice and Triple H thrice during his conquest in WrestleMania. His final win was against CM Punk at WrestleMania 29, which he achieved by delivering his signature ‘Tombstone’.
