Possible explanation for The Miz’s face turn
One of the main reasons fans speculate why they turned The Miz babyface is because he’s been a heel for much too long. Despite being great at being the bad guy, fans get tired of it. With Gunther being a heel, he would require a babyface to feud with. The Miz has been someone who was incredibly proud of his Intercontinental run.
If the WWE pushes The Miz for another Intercontinental run, he would need to be a babyface. This could also allow him to ally with DIY against the Imperium. As DIY is one man short, Miz could fill in. Nevertheless, this all amounts to speculation at the moment as WWE hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
