Drew McIntyre is currently back to zero following his crushing defeat against Damien Priest on Clash at The Castle. McIntyre failed to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship, which he lost via cash-in at WrestleMania 40. This time, it appears that McIntyre’s setback was significant, as the former WWE Champion has made significant decisions on Raw.

Monday Night Raw has been startling so far, and it appears that Drew McIntyre has made it even more shocking with his choice. He called out on Raw to explain his loss, and it appears that he has decided to depart the company as a result of this loss. He confessed that he can no longer tolerate the company’s behavior and intends to screw them.

After speaking these lines, he declared that he was quitting and would not continue. Drew McIntyre said, “I can’t do it anymore. Sc**w this company. I quit.” Fans are upset by this sequence, but it appears that not many people are aware that this may be a plot WWE is attempting to build towards. Is this a storyline?

Drew McIntyre did re-sign with WWE; then what is this ‘I Quit’ thing?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is someone who constantly has some sort of news that no one is aware of. Because of his connection, the man has a wealth of information, and a few months ago, with the help of his insight connection, he announced to the WWE Universe that Drew McIntyre had officially re-signed a new deal with the WWE.

This was a really joyous moment for Drew McIntyre supporters since they knew they’d be seeing their favorite wrestler for the next several years now. So, what happened that caused McIntyre to leave WWE? So far, suspicion has been that WWE is attempting to give Drew McIntyre a break as a result of everything that has happened to him.

This pause would allow the character to gain new vitality on screen and resume the plot. This is why WWE hasn’t done much with the character, opting instead to follow the conventional path of the ‘I Quit’ plot, which wrestlers typically utilize when their persona needs a break. Although these are only speculations, it will be fascinating to see whether WWE does the same with Drew McIntyre or not.
