Rhea Ripley won the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 39 this year after a hard-fought battle against Charlotte Flair. Since then, she has successfully defended and retained her title against whoever has challenged her for the belt.

However, one superstar doesn’t believe that she is doing justice to her position. The superstar we are talking about here is Becky Lynch. In a recent interview, she claimed that ‘Mami’ is not a fighting champion. She slammed her for not putting her title on the line as often as she should.

Becky Lynch takes a jab at Rhea Ripley for not being a fighting champion

While speaking to Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, Lynch asserted that Ripley is robbing opportunities for other female stars on the roster by not defending her championship regularly. This is why up-and-coming stars are not able to rise and shine in the roster.

She said, “It’s hard to gain momentum if you don’t get no TV time and it’s hard to get TV time if there is nothing to fight for. We know that Rhea Ripley only likes hanging out with the lads (of The Judgement Day) and doesn’t like getting hit.”

‘The Man’ accused Ripley of bringing down female locker room stars. Therefore, she believes that immediate action must be taken to solve this issue. Well, she already has taken the initiative to do so.

Lynch wants to uplift the women’s roster in WWE

During the interview, Lynch stated that there are very less credible women on the Raw brand where she and ‘The Eradicator’ perform. They are not getting enough screen time to showcase their skill and talent in front of the audience. It is because champions like Ripley aren’t putting their titles on the line anymore.

So to change the status quo, she implied that she would give her 100% to become a fighting champion and put her NXT Championship online regularly. Unlike Ripley, she doesn’t intend to deprive her fellow women wrestlers of opportunities and growth.
