R Truth lived one of the biggest watershed moments of his career holding the Raw tag team championship alongside The Miz in a six-pack tag team ladder match at WrestleMania Night 1. The 52-year-old has been around the fore for a while and served a good chunk of humor and fun with his hilarious Judgment Day pursuit. That said, not everything is fun right now in the personal life of the WWE star. It seems a family emergency took over the joy of his recent feat. But the former NWA World Champion chose to chin up with a unique and soulful gesture.
R Truth’s tag team win celebration came to an abrupt halt
Ron Killings and his comedic antics have earned him a lot of adulation and appreciation worldwide. Stepping into the gimmick of a doltish wrestler who doesn’t know the basics of pro wrestling, the Charismatic One found his way to refine and reinvent his role to stay relevant for nearly 24 years. He was so apt in selling his spontaneous segments that we can’t even imagine him on the melancholic side of life. But it’s what it is. Before one-half of the Awesome Truth was done relishing his first-ever WrestleMania moment, life brutally pulled the rug under him.

His favorite cousin, his biggest cheerleader, is undergoing a health emergency, and Truth can’t refrain from penning a deep note for his brother.
He wrapped the championship belt around his ailing brother and wrote, ”My cousin Rosco had a stroke the night I had my Big Wrestle Mania winning the WWE tag team championship, He has ALWAYS been my biggest supporter! Every time I see him he would tell me how proud of me he was, That meant more to me than anything!! Life doesn’t come with a handbook, experience is the best teacher, take time to stop, breathe, listen, learn, and absorb. We create make and will remember the memories make’em count #imagetright”

However, this is not the only time the hardship of life has taken a toll on him in recent years.
Truth underwent another serious crisis back in 2022
During a match against Grayson Waller on Nov. 1, 2022, on NXT, he lost power in his left knee after overdoing a flip-over. After staying overnight in the hospital in Orlando, Florida, the injury turned out to be a torn pectoral tendon. The setback for the 52-year-old came at the worst time as it crushed a solid storyline with Waller and put him on the shelf. After having a fruitful run throughout the year, the setback cost Truth his momentum, but he came back stronger.
