For those who are unaware, Punk suffered a career-threatening injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre at the 2024 Royal Rumble. A DDT from the Scottish Psychopath resulted in a triceps tear which landed him in physical rehabilitation. However, McIntyre is happy about it as he stopped Punk from making his way to WrestleMania XL.
Originally, it was believed that Punk would have been the one to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL for the Heavyweight Championship title. However, due to his injury, and the love heel McIntyre had been receiving from fans, WWE might have decided to go with the Scottish star.

A few other fans believe that if he is set to appear just a couple of weeks before WrestleMania, it should be for a major announcement. Now the speculation ranges from him being a guest referee for the Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre WrestleMania XL match to announcing his recovery and participating in the match.
Major W. Punk on the last 2 episodes of RAW before Mania. Cooking up something special.

I have to think Punk announces he's the special ref for Drew/Seth or that he's commentating. Guess it depends on how far in recovery he is. Hope Punk becomes Guest Referee or Enforcer for WM match, I just want to see Drew reaction Imagine him begging to Punk to let him win after…

Another fan stated that he would come in as a guardian angel for Cody Rhodes, ahead of WrestleMania. He will remind Rhodes that his new partner, Seth Rollins, is not someone he could trust. This might sow more seeds of doubt in the newly formed partnership.
Perfect time to plant some more seeds with Seth Rollins!
Perhaps this is where Punk warns Cody Rhodes before the heel turn comes.
