Grayson Waller recently faced heavy backlash after making a comment on pop star Taylor Swift. The WWE star made this comment on the latest episode of WWE The Bump. However, after facing extensive backlash for his comments, he decided to apologize to everyone in his unique way.

If that wasn’t enough, Waller decided to once again take shots at Taylor Swift and this time, Austin Theory joined him too. This was done before he posted an ‘apology’ video on his social media.

During the live event at Laredo, The Arrogant Aussie made sure to send a message to both Taylor Swift and her Swifties. He entered sporting a Taylor Swift fan shirt. “I am a Swiftie” was written on the back of the shirt. Fans of the wrestler immediately understood that he was back at it again. As if that was not enough, Austin Theory decided to jump on the bandwagon. They both decided to call out Taylor Swift’s handshake with Brittany Mahomes which she did after the Kansas City Chief scored a touchdown.

Waller is known for his jabs and signature ‘rubs’ and even The Leader of The Cenation was not safe from them. So once again the star decided to show the Swifties his ‘Grayson Waller Rub’. He posted an apology video on his social media after the Laredo event. What started off as a somber apology quickly turned into a mock fest when Waller said that he felt sorry for Taylor Swift’s fans. He said that he feels sorry for them as they try to define themselves based on her accomplishments. Waller also said that all those who are trying to roast him should leave that to professionals as the Swifties are bad at it.

With these, Waller has waged a war with one of the biggest fandoms in entertainment history. Swifties has been known for going to extreme lengths for Taylor Swift. However, what is extremely astonishing is how this unexpected crossover actually started.

A few weeks ago, Waller happened to bump into Taylor Swift’s current boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s mother. She was present at the Philadelphia Eagle’s game, supporting her other son and Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce. Seeing the opportunity, Waller decided to click a picture with her. He then posted it on social media saying, “Travis getting all the attention, needed to give Mama Kelce the Grayson Waller Rub.” The post instantly blew up with “Mama Kelce” trending on X. 

He was then called upon the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump. There, he was asked about how he helped create a new trending topic on social media. He gave himself “95%” credit for making Mama Kelce famous. Waller was then asked how he felt about the Swift-Kelce romance. To this, the 33-year-old star replied that he is happy for him as he decided to settle for a “6”. He indirectly hinted that Swift is not his cup of tea and he would prefer someone who is a “9 or 10”
