Injuries are a part of professional wrestling and, WWE superstars have often found themselves in harm’s way while performing. Taking risks and doing over-the-top maneuvers have often injured superstars, and put them out of action for a long time.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are two such top wrestlers who are currently out of action, but are rumored to return at Royal Rumble 2023. R-Truth is also injured and took to social media to share the news about his injury.

R-Truth suffered a gruesome injury during his match against Grayson Waller. Truth missed a front flip out of the ring and landed hard on the floor. The accident saw, R-Truth tearing his quad tendon, and requiring surgery.

However, recently, the former WWE 24/7 Champion again took to Twitter to share an update on his injury and surgery. The 50-year-old shared how he has been recovering and is eyeing his comeback. However, he also shared how he has been having problems while showering because of his inability of moving or bending his leg. The injury was extremely unfortunate.

R-Truth’s fans on the internet made sure to show their support to their favorite WWE Superstar, and they filled in their well-wishes. R-Truth is extremely popular among his fans, and it was a wholesome situation.

Fans react to R-Truth’s injury and suffering

Injuries are extremely painful, however, WWE Superstars often stand their ground and fight through injuries, like Cody Rhodes. However, sometimes the situation gets so tough that immediate treatment is required,

Fans were hoping for R-Truth’s speedy recovery.

Prior to his match with Grayson Waller in NXT, R-Truth was also involved in segments with The Miz and Baron Corbin, and also had a brief tag-team run with Shelton Benjamin. The type of injury R-Truth has suffered is extremely dangerous, and no time frame for it has been revealed.

Truth is now approaching 51 years of age and is joining the more risky group of being prone to injuries. Performing at such an age is always risky and more prone to injuries. However, with the level of fitness that Truth has, he might continue even longer.
