The secret behind Hogan’s Hangout revealed

In a conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Hulk Hogan delved into his unique venue, which quietly opened its doors on December 27, 2020. The restaurant serves as Hogan’s second venture as a restauranteur. The first was Hogan’s Beach on the Courtney Campbell Causeway (which closed in 2015). Hogan revealed that this spot held a special place in his heart since his younger days, and when he gained ownership, he frequented it regularly.

He disclosed that during the wild days of his Tampa club, Hogan’s Beach, when heavy metal music filled the air, he would retreat to this covert hangout near his house. Van Vliet noted that this was indeed the best-kept secret as every Monday, fans would have a chance to meet or catch a glimpse of Hogan at the restaurant.

Hogan added, “But it… it is like the best-kept secret…. secret. But because we give away title belts every week like to the best male singer. You get a title belt, the best female… you get a title belt. Yeah. Then we have quarterfinals and at the quarterfinals, we give away cash which was last week.”

He also stated, “And then once a year we’ve got the Undisputed Champion where we give away a lot of money. So, it gets real competitive in here and I’ve got people flying in from Jersey, from New York, from Vegas just to come in this thing and go crazy in here you know. Jason Aline’s been in here, of course Rodman’s been here it’s just been nuts.”

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan recently shed light on his ongoing WWE contract and hinted at a possible on-screen comeback. Although he hasn’t made an appearance since WWE Raw’s 30th Anniversary episode in January 2023, Hogan revealed that his collaboration with WWE is still going strong.

Speaking with Van Vliet, Hogan confirmed, “You know, I still work with the WWE all the time. I just renewed my deal with them, you know.” When asked about a potential return to the ring, Hogan expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I hope so. It’s always fun to go out there. And maybe I can hang on to one of the wrestlers to get me out to the ring.”

Hogan’s last WWE match dates back to August 2006 at SummerSlam against Randy Orton. He hasn’t wrestled since the TNA Maximum Impact Wrestling 2012 in the UK.
