Many expected the news of NBC taking down Young Rock as their fall line-up last month did not include Young Rock among the shows listed. They had not made the decision about the series based of The Rock’s life.
At the moment, the future of the show is unknown, whether it will be shelved or if it would stream on any one of the OTT platforms. Nevertheless, we got to see some of the well-known popular wrestlers in the series.
Wrestling stars like The Iron Sheik, Macho Man Randy Savage, Afa and Sika, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Pat Patterson and others were brought to life on the small screen. Moreover, we got to see three different actors playing The Rock. Adrian Groulx, as 10- to 14-year-old, Bradley Constant as 15- to 17-year-old, and Uli Latukefu as 18- to 26-year-old. Fans turn their back on Dwayne Johnson over Young Rock cancelation
A couple of fans claim Johnson not appearing to WWE is one of the reasons for the failure of the show.
He should of appeared in wrestling when he launched it, now when he comes back it just gives Roman or whoever he feuds with major ammunition to talk about his acting failures.

Well it had a better run than I thought it would. Some of the casting choices were terrible. The guy who played The Rock could have a second career as a pro wrestler if he wanted to! Just show up at WWE and say Rock sent me! lol

Enjoyed the show but think they went a touch wrong. After the pilot Rock should've just been a voice over. Dwayne's future role really took away from the show imo. Also they rushed the history alot.
