Pat McAfee is going to have his biggest moment in WWE next month in Dallas, Texas. The former NFL punter will face Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38.
After Vince McMahon gave Pat McAfee a match at WrestleMania 38, Austin Theory revealed himself as McAfee’s opponent. Since then, this feud got interesting with each passing week.
The WWE Raw superstar even slapped the headset off Pat McAfee’s head twice. Even though McAfee did nothing the first time, he attacked Theory on WWE SmackDown last week.

During this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Pat McAfee had been asked to apologize to Theory for his actions in the previous week.
Even though McAfee apologized, it did not look like a genuine apology. And after this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Austin Theory had a message for his WrestleMania 38 opponent.
Speaking on WWE Talking Smack, the WWE Raw superstar said, “He [Pat McAfee] thinks for some odd reason he’s gonna walk into WrestleMania and beat Austin Theory. I’m the protégé of the chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon.”
“Tonight Pat had to apologize because he’s out of line. He doesn’t understand what his future holds. And the future is Austin Theory and the future, like I said it before and I will say it again, at WrestleMania, A-Town is gonna put you down,” Theory added.
Though this is not the main event match, both McAfee and Austin Theory are really talented individuals. And both of them have grabbed the attention of the fans through their actions.
Austin Theory obviously has more experience in competing inside the squared circle. But Pat McAfee will not go down easily. He is a tough individual, and we have seen that before in WWE.
