There have been updates about Goldberg’s retirement plans. According to the reports, the event might feature some legendary superstars.

The Hall of Famer’s final match can be a star-studded affair

Goldberg’s last match was with the Tribal Chief in Saudi Arabia at Elimination Chamber 2022. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful in defeating Roman Reigns. Since then he has spoken about how he never received a proper retirement match from WWE and now he is aiming to compete in an event in Israel in a grand manner.

Sean Sapp from Fightful Select recently updated that several former WWE Superstars are going to be a part of Golberg’s last match event.

Sting, Chris Masters, John Morrison, and many others are reported to be part of the event that will host the Hall of Famers’ last contest. In addition, 52-year-old former ECW Champion Rob Van Dam is also reported to attend.

The report read, “In an update on the company from Israel that is hoping to land Goldberg for a match, we’ve learned some more. The company running the show is also hoping to land Sting, Rob Van Dam, Chris Masters, John Morrison, and more.”

Although there is no update on the proceedings of the event. As Sting is going to be part of the event, there is a slight chance Sting could be his opponent. The Icon would be the perfect fit for an opponent for the WWE Hall of Famer’s final match.

The duo has a brief history that traces back to their days in WCW and now Goldberg is hoping for a grand send-off. For now, there is no update on the event or potential opponent from WWE.

Goldberg’s last pro wrestling match

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns needed an opponent to defend his title in 2022 at the Elimination Chamber event and as a result, Goldberg made a surprise return to WWE.

After his return, the 55-year-old referred to The Tribal Chief as his next victim. He challenged him to a title match at the Elimination Chamber.

In a first-time-ever match, Roman Reigns defeated Goldberg at WWE Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia and retained the Universal Championship.`

Post his defeat from Reigns, Goldberg is now on the verge of his retirement. He is looking for a top opponent to mark a historic show for his fans before he takes a last farewell from the ring.
