Bill Goldberg is one of the most prominent and iconic wrestlers of WWE. His distinct look and fighting style is unique and rare to see these days. There aren’t many wrestlers today who can replicate it.
In a recent interview with “WWE Now India”, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed who he thinks is his toughest opponent. He also mentioned who he thinks resembles his own fighting style.

Goldberg also added that he sees his younger self in the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. He said,
“That’s been, hands down, Brock Lesnar, a hundred percent. He is a breed of his own. I like to say that he’s, you know, he’s is an extremely similar character to mine. Mainly because that’s who we are. That’s truly how we are. Not much of a departure, once a good guy, once a bad guy. Not much difference. He’s, he’s kind of like going up against myself. And I, you know, kinda see that in Bobby Lashley too. But a younger version of myself.”

Goldberg has won it all in WWE. So for Bobby Lashley to get such a compliment from him is certainly a big deal; even though he is Goldberg’s opponent.

Goldberg facing Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam
Bill Goldberg is the latest thorn in ‘The Almighty‘ Bobby Lashley’s throne. He has been feuding with Lashley for a couple of weeks now. Even though the reaction to this booking has been positive, there are fans who do not like it. They feel that Goldberg has passed his prime and a new generation of wrestlers should get the main event push.
The added fact of WWE releasing promising talents does not help their cause. The fans have been very vocal about their dislike of WWE releasing fan favorite wrestlers. ‘The Fiend‘ Bray Wyatt and Aleister Black are prime examples of WWE’s poor choice of letting wrestlers go.
