Solo Sikoa’s bizarre WWE antics on SmackDown last week brought a spark into the Bloodline saga after the post-WrestleMania stale. While Tama Tonga’s abrupt injection into Roman Reigns’ family tree has still been the cynosure of the episode, Sikoa disrespecting the Wise Man and stretching beyond the Tribal Chief’s order is the perfect cherry on the cake. The development hinted at the start of a completely new Bloodline era with Solo Sikoa on the top. That said, his epic rise seems to be destined as WWE legend Bully Ray compares his journey to the legendary quarterbacks in history.
WWE veteran marked a co-relation between Solo Sikoa and renowned footballers
The April 12 SmackDown episode kickstarted with the Bloodline in tatters. With The Tribal Chief most likely on a hiatus, and The Rock reverting to Hollywood, WWE had a good excuse to push Solo Sikoa a bit higher than the mid-card spot. The Right Hand Man didn’t win a match in eight months as the Reigns’ faithful. Now with the teased character change (Stepping into the anti-Roman Reigns squad), it looks like the Solo Sikoa will be on a roll pretty soon. The Street Champion made his WWE debut on October 26, 2021, during the NXT Halloween Havoc and learned his lessons from Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. WWE critique Bully Ray found his journey unnaturally similar to some football bigwigs.

Justifying the comparison, Ray noted, ”Montana was starting right, and then Steve Young got his call up and boom Steve Young made a difference between Aaron Rodgers hanging out in the background on the bench Brett Favre going down boom Aaron Rodgers stepping up comes Tom Brady there you goo goes down and that’s and that’s what it is those quarterbacks sat under the learning trees of those other great quarterbacks, that’s what Solo has been doing he’s been sitting under the Learning Tree of Roman and Hayman now he’s going to step up .”
However, Sikoa’s potential to be the next big thing in the family tree wasn’t unnoticed by Reigns.
Roman Reigns foresaw Solo Sikoa’s future in the faction
Sikoa has been standing firm by the Tribal Chief through thick and thin so far and earned his reward as well. Roman Reigns announced him as the Tribal Heir of the Bloodline in an epic SmackDown episode.
However, Sikoa’s unfathomed loyalty wasn’t the only reason for Reigns to award him the title. Sikoa’s rising presence and hold inside the promotion possibly instigated fear in the Big Dog and he wanted to keep Sikoa by his side by any means. So honoring him with the Tribal Heir seemed safer than bearing with a betrayal.

Given the current dynamic, Reigns’ fear might come true soon despite all of his efforts to resist.
