Rey Mysterio is popular for his masked identity. The WWE legend appeared with a new face mask tonight on SmackDown and fans are completely digging it.

The Mexican wrestler related his identity with ‘Batman’ by paying him a subtle tribute through the face mask he is wearing on SmackDown tonight. Not only do the fans understand his reference, but they are loving it as well.

The WWE Hall of Famer revealed himself in a promo alongside the LWO. The wrestler stood by his faction after a member lost to ‘The Street Profits’. However, what fans noticed the most about the promo was Mysterio’s black mask, giving ‘Batman’ vibes because of its color and pointed ears.

Unfortunately, the wrestler himself didn’t acknowledge the interesting crossover. So, fans who were waiting for the comic geek in them to get validated might have felt a bit left out. However, Mysterio adorned the mask like it was his all-time favorite.
