WWE is on the road to WrestleMania, and this week’s edition SmackDown kicked off with a new title change as Ricochet beat Sami Zayn.

On the previous edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Ricochet stood against Sami Zayn, wanting an Intercontinental Championship match. WWE Official Adam Pearce obliged and handed him the opportunity for today’s SmackDown.
Sami Zayn battled against Ricochet and was not happy with Adam Pearce’s decision. This seemed to affect him in the match, and the distraction didn’t help matters as he surrendered his belt just about two weeks after claiming it.

On the latest Raw episode, the WWE Universe saw Finn Balor become the new United States Champion after he beat Damian Priest.

On SmackDown, WWE continued in the same vein as they handed a crowd favorite the title. Fans took to Twitter to express their praise at WWE’s booking.

After losing to Ricochet, Sami Zayn will face Johnny Knoxville
Today’s SmackDown kicked off with Sami Zayn and Ricochet putting on an incredible classic showcase. However, Sami was distracted by the Hollywood Star, Johnny Knoxville, who made his way out to the ring.

After the match, the Jackass star again belittled Sami Zayn. Hence, Sami took no time and challenged Johnny Knoxville to a match at The Stupendous WrestleMania 38.

After Zayn ended his dreams of a title match at WrestleMania, Knoxville will be hungry to get revenge and humiliate the WWE superstar on the Premium Live Event. He has already taken a big step by costing Zayn his belt tonight. However, that may backfire, as Zayn will be eager to make Knoxville pay.
