The biggest showcase event, WrestleMania 39, was also free from McMahon’s controlling hands and it no doubt made a massive blockbuster event. In their recent report, PW Insider noted, ‘To no one’s surprise Vince McMahon was personally & heavily involved with tonight’s episode of RAW.

A number of late rewrites for the episode were ordered before the show & continued as the show well into being on the air, directly from Vince.

And there was a huge negative shift in morale.’

It not only failed to sit well with the fans, but also made them furious at the 77-year-old boss.

Fans take massive shots at Vince McMahon for not letting the young generation take over

Vince McMahon recently succeeded in his very motive of getting back with the company as WWE sold itself to UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, to form a merger with UFC as one single publicly traded sports entertainment company. Vince McMahon earned a massive gain out of the 9.3 billion offered value to WWE by the Endeavor’s CEO, Ari Emanuel. But the actual thing he gained is getting his control back over creative as the new CEO weighs in.

As soon as the report came to light, fans went berserk on Twitter, venting out their utter frustration.

Vince has always been in the bad book of most of the fans and peers for multiple reasons. His not-so-fan-centric thinking, controversial acts, gestures, sudden release of the stars, etc. made him a hated figure in the wrestling universe. While his contribution to the promotion is undeniable, the grudges of fans against him are also a proven fact. The Twitter reactions further proved so.

Fans think McMahon is a control freak guy who doesn’t want to vacate space for the new generations at all.

Some of them are unable to tolerate him in creative anymore and hence they requested him to sign off for the fans’ sake.

Referring to last night’s flop Raw episode, a few of them noted that WrestleMania 39 was the last good watchable show of WWE.

One of the users also reflected on Vince’s successful master plan to regain sway over the creative by selling the company to a new entity.
