Ric Flair doesn’t shy away from speaking his heart out. The former WWE wrestler appears on his very own podcast called, ‘To Be The Man’. In that podcast, fans can see Flair be unfiltered for the most part. Time and again, Flair has shared a lot of unknown details with his fans through this podcast. He is now back again with more such details.
In a recent episode, the wrestler talked about his last-ever wrestling match. The match was a PPV delicacy which some fans enjoyed. Apparently, it didn’t do well enough compared to other matches of the year 2022. However, Flair doesn’t regret a thing about his last match.

Ric Flair’s controversial promo
Flair’s last match was in Nashville, which was a PPV event. The event included a lot of familiar faces. This consisted of stars from WWE, AEW, Impact Wrestling, AAA, and MLW. There were several cameos throughout the event that kept the fans entertained. Unfortunately for Flair, even after all the entertainment, fans couldn’t rate it as a good match. If that wasn’t controversial enough, Ric Flair added some spice to make it one. During the event, he had a little promo where he pretended to get a heart attack in between. Considering the dangers of the sport in correlation with Flair’s old age, fans really bought the drama that was being set up. Although for some, it was merely a promo, some deemed it as “disgusting” once the event was over.

The popular news outlet ‘Wrestling Observer’ reported all these views after collecting them from its subscribers. However, Flair doesn’t consider this review regarding his promo at all. While telling his fans that he doesn’t care about this opinion, Flair says, “I made $300,000 dollars. Go f*ck yourself. That’s right. I made $300,000 disgusting you.” However, this attitude wasn’t the only way that Flair greeted criticism.
Criticism vs Ric Flair
Although he didn’t care about some opinions regarding his promo, it doesn’t conclude how Flair treats criticism. The Hall of Famer is also very humble, while accepting his faults when he sees them. When the wrestler gets to know that his final fight before turning 74 years old was rated the second worst match of 2022, Ric Flair accepted it. “It was the sh**s because I made a mistake in hydrating,” said Nature Boy.
