A few days back, The Undertaker got announced as an inductee for the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame. Since then, there have been talks about The Undertaker being the only inductee for this year. However, on tonight’s edition of Raw, WWE revealed that Vader will also be inducted into the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame.

Though The Undertaker is one of the most popular and loved guys in WWE, Vader also grabbed a special place in the hearts of many through his legendary performances.

Even though he was a big guy, Vader captivated the WWE Universe by performing some high-flying moves.

Soon after this announcement, pro wrestling fans took to Twitter and congratulated Vader. The love and respect the fans displayed on Twitter for Big Van Vader were really heart-touching.

Several fans showered Vader with love and praise. But they believe this should have taken place while the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion was alive.

 

One person even said that no one can claim “anything bad about Vader the man or his work.”

Such is the craze for Vader among fans that one fan claimed even though he wanted The Undertaker to be the only inductee, he is glad that Vader is getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The fan also acknowledged him as “one of the biggest super heavyweight pro wrestlers of all time.”

Even WWE legends like Kane and Triple H praised and congratulated their former WWE rival.

Big Van Vader is an absolute legend in the professional wrestling world

Vader is a stranger to no pro wrestling fan. He competed at several pro wrestling promotions, such as NJPW, WCW, WWE, and AJPW.

He is a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and also won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship thrice. These are not his only achievements, as he won many more titles in his career.

Though Vader never won a title in WWE, he competed in several high-profile matches against The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Kane, The Rock, Edge, and many more.

The former WWE superstar did not just compete. He also defeated The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble in 1997.

His last WWE match took place at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, USA, during an episode of WWE Raw in June 2012. On that night, he defeated Heath Slater in a match within four minutes.
