The 37-year-old wrestling star recently sat down in an interview with ‘Signed By Superstars’. While there were a lot of topics to be discussed with the former WWE superstar, the intrigue peaked when Riddle discussed his past friction with Randy Orton. He first explained how he was comfortable in the WWE locker room right from the start. He said, “For me, I am very comfortable right off the bat. I think a lot of people take things very personally which over years and going through different eras of wrestling, because this era that we’re in is very nice.”
As he was emphasizing this, he gradually moved on to describe how various things irritate some older superstars, Orton included. He continued, “Like I think Randy didn’t like me the first time we met. I didn’t want to bother him and he’s going up to everybody I just had my head phones on I was chilling and I didn’t go up and say hi to him. And I remember Randy going, I’m going to figure out a way to get this guy f**king fired and I was like you said that dude and ‘he’s like yeah but you’re cool now’.”
This could be surprising for most of us, as we have seen them doing relatively well together in the past. Interestingly, their in-ring storyline also showed a frustrated Orton, who later took kindly to Riddle. And they both did a great job together.
